Nearly four decades of systems that cannot fail

Boris Symchowicz holds two Master’s degrees from Aix-Marseille University, in Safety Engineering and Fluid Mechanics, and brings more than twenty-five years of experience in industry and complex technological environments.

He began his career in system safety and security at the CEA, and later at SNCF, before joining Alstom, where he spent more than twenty years in management and executive leadership positions, including four years in China. His career spans the management of major international projects and business development in multicultural, technology-driven environments.

He notably served as Managing Director, Signalling & Infrastructure for Spain and Portugal, before becoming Vice President, Digital Integrated Systems for Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. In this latter role, he was responsible for a business generating €400 million in annual revenue, with an order backlog of approximately €1 billion and an organisation of 1,000 employees.

Building on his extensive international experience in strategy, business development and performance management, Boris Symchowicz joined CELERES in 2026 as Chief Executive Officer.

A Physics graduate from the University of Barcelona, Marta Escudero joined GTD in 1989 and became involved in the development of the company’s space activities from the very beginning of her career. She quickly took responsibility for GTD’s first space project, whose success marked a key milestone in the company’s development in this market.

Over the following three decades, she supported the growth and transformation of the company, successively taking on leadership roles at department, division and executive level, before being appointed Managing Director of GTD Sistemas de Información.

Throughout her career, Marta Escudero has focused on operational leadership, business performance and the achievement of strategic objectives, combining a strong technical background with proven management and execution capabilities.

Recognised by clients, partners and colleagues for her effectiveness, rigour and leadership skills, she has developed an in-depth understanding of the space industry and its European ecosystems.

With more than thirty years of both operational and managerial experience, Marta Escudero brings valuable expertise to lead the launch of CELERES, structure its organisation and support its development as the company delivers on its growth ambitions.

Geoffroy Legros has nearly twenty years of experience in business development and strategy within technology-driven and sovereign industries. He began his career at Morpho (Safran), where he worked in the security technology sector and developed strong expertise in international markets and key accounts.

He then joined in 2017 the Sales Department at Arianespace, where he worked at the heart of the European space industry and developed an in-depth understanding of the international launch services market, the broader space ecosystem, its customers, and its key industrial and institutional stakeholders.

He continued his career at GTD since 2024, in critical systems for the space, defence and security sectors, where he became Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, he leads business development and contributes to the company’s growth strategy.

A Telecommunications Engineer from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Ricardo Bennassar has spent most of his career in the European space sector, where he has held operational, technical, commercial and managerial responsibilities.

He began his career at the Guiana Space Centre as part of GTD’s operations and maintenance teams, before joining CNES in Toulouse, where he worked as a business manager on telecommunications projects. Returning to Barcelona, he continued his career at GTD, first as a Project Manager and then for more than fifteen years as Sales Manager dedicated to the space sector.

Since 2024, Ricardo Bennassar has served as Director of Space Operations at GTD, drawing on more than two decades of experience gained alongside the sector’s leading organisations and across a wide range of operational environments.

His career, spanning operations, telecommunications, project management and business development, gives him a comprehensive understanding of the challenges facing the European space industry. This cross-functional perspective is a key asset in supporting CELERES’ development and anticipating the transformations, opportunities and challenges that will shape the future of space operations.

A Telecommunications Engineer trained at the Centro Politécnico Superior de Zaragoza and at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), one of Europe’s most prestigious and selective technical universities, Javier Muru has spent most of his career in the European space and defence sectors.

He began his career in 2005 with GTD at the Guiana Space Centre in Kourou, where he contributed to more than thirty Ariane 5 launches over six years as the engineer responsible for the Utilities Control Bench. Returning to Europe in 2011, he joined GTD’s embedded software teams at Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse, where he contributed to the development of several Earth observation satellites, including the Spanish SEOSAT-Ingenio satellite.

He later took charge of Operations for GTD’s French subsidiary before being appointed Deputy Managing Director in 2017. In this role, he played an active part in the company’s growth, particularly in the fields of critical site protection, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. His career achievements were recognised with the 2025 Engineer of the Year Award, presented by the Association of Telecommunications Engineers of La Rioja (AITER), his home region.

Now Managing Director, Defense & Security at CELERES, Javier Muru draws on twenty years of experience to support the development of the group’s activities in these fields, with the ambition of extending its engineering excellence across all of its strategic markets.

He began his career at IBM, where he spent six years and gained his first experience within a leading international technology company.

He then founded GTD, which he has led and developed for nearly forty years. Under his leadership, GTD has grown with a strong entrepreneurial, international and multicultural culture.

Throughout his career, he has developed business activities across Europe, Africa and South America, and contributed to the creation of more than 70 companies and partnership structures, including subsidiaries, joint ventures, temporary business consortia and other forms of cooperation.

Operating across a dozen countries, this extensive international journey has given him significant experience in creating, developing and leading businesses in complex and diverse international environments.

Jean-Yves Le Gall is an accomplished professional with a focus on "Upstream" activities in the space industry, particularly in the areas of launchers and space agencies. With a distinguished career, he has made significant contributions to the field.

Jean-Yves served as the President of the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), where he played a pivotal role in advancing France's space capabilities and overseeing various space programs and initiatives.

Additionally, Jean-Yves held the position of Chair of the Council of the European Space Agency (ESA), demonstrating his leadership and influence in shaping European space policy and cooperation.

Furthermore, Jean-Yves served as the Chairman and CEO of Arianespace when it was the leading company in the commercial satellite launch industry. In this role, he contributed to the success of numerous launch missions and played a crucial part in strengthening Europe's position in the global space market.

With a specialization in the space industry, launch vehicles, and space agencies, Jean-Yves Le Gall is widely recognized as a leading figure in this field. His leadership roles at CNES, ESA, and Arianespace, combined with his expertise in space policy and commercial space initiatives, make him a key player in promoting space exploration and technological innovation. In 2026, Via Satellite magazine recognized these achievements by naming him one of the 40 individuals who have shaped the satellite industry.

Jean-François has joined Latour Capital as a Senior Partner. He began his career in 2001 in the Innovation Department of the Stellantis Group (then PSA-Peugeot Citroën), where he notably led the aerodynamics research teams. He joined Alstom's transport division in 2007, where he initially held management positions in the Technical, Operations, and Finance departments, before moving to Asia in 2014 to become President of Alstom for the Asia Pacific region shortly thereafter. Returning to France in 2018, he took over global leadership of the Digital & Integrated Systems product line, encompassing signaling and digital solutions, infrastructure, and turnkey projects (18,000 employees in over 50 countries, €4.5 billion in revenue). He has made this product line the primary driver of the digitalization of Alstom's solutions portfolio. Throughout his career, Jean-François has developed extensive experience in the growth and profitability turnaround of international technology and industrial businesses. He has also led numerous mergers and acquisitions, ranging from small (~€5 million) to very large (>€1 billion), with a strong focus on integration, development, and post-acquisition value creation strategies.

Jean-François is a graduate of École Polytechnique and holds a doctorate in mathematics from Mines ParisTech.

Kamil joined Latour Capital in 2025. Prior to that, he spent ten years at Astorg, where he contributed to the execution and monitoring of investments in the industrial, business services, and technology sectors in Europe. He began his career with experience in M&A at Lazard, followed by leveraged finance at BNP Paribas.

Kamil is a graduate of ESSEC Business School and holds a Master's degree in Finance from Paris-Dauphine University.

Thibaut joined Latour Capital in 2025 as a Senior Investment Manager. He began his career in 2019 at Silver Lake in London, a large-cap private equity fund specializing in technology. In 2021, he joined the Growth Capital team at Five Arrows in Paris, where he participated in several investments in unlisted companies in the technology and healthcare sectors. Thibaut is a graduate of ESSEC Business School.
