Co-leading the GENESIS consortium in partnership with Telespazio, Celeres (formerly GTD) is a key industrial player in the CSG-NG program for the i-CDO project. Backed by a strong network of subcontractors, this undertaking consolidates all IT operational systems related to launch and mission campaigns into a unified infrastructure. It serves the most critical missions conducted for the Launch Operator and Flight Safety.

Our team is responsible for developing a completely new digital infrastructure for the European Spaceport, known as the CDO-PF platform, alongside new operational networks. On top of this platform, Celeres is developing the CDO-BLA software system. This system handles the localization and monitoring of launchers while integrating new functionalities designed to significantly optimize the competitiveness of the launch base.

The scope also covers the renewal of the Time System for synchronization and distribution, the deployment of the control room furniture for the new CDO building, and the development of SANTANA. This video distribution system provides critical imagery for launch operations.

To manage the scale and complexity of the project — which involves hundreds of thousands of lines of code — Celeres employs the Agile SAFE methodology, with eight dedicated teams of engineers working in parallel. This approach allows for rapid adaptation to requirements and ensures the continuous delivery of a robust, modernised operational loop for the spaceport.
