Having originally built the Jupiter Mission Control Centre in the 1990s and maintained it for over 20 years, Celeres (formerly GTD) acted as the prime contractor for its complete renewal, leading subcontractors Telespazio UK and Rartel. The CDC is the nerve centre of the Guiana Space Centre, used to coordinate all systems during tests, trainings, and launches. It acts as the convergence point for all synthesis information regarding the status of the launch base, the launcher, and the satellites, directly enabling the Launch Operator to authorize the lift-off.

To address severe hardware and software obsolescence, Celeres executed a total modernization of the facility. Our responsibilities spanned the entire lifecycle: project management, engineering studies, product assurance, and the specification and supply of all necessary software, hardware, interfaces, and spare parts.

The operational phase required the factory integration of components, on-site installation in Kourou, and the complex dismantling of the legacy systems. Celeres successfully managed the technical qualification of the site, provided comprehensive training for the operations and maintenance teams, and delivered the final warranty for the deployed systems. This highly complex system migration cements our track record as a reliable prime contractor capable of replacing critical spaceport infrastructure end-to-end.
