SCET-M

Celeres (formerly GTD) acted as the prime contractor for the "SCET Multi-launcher" (SCET-M) project, an undertaking that renewed the legacy Ariane 5 telemetry system and extended its capabilities to support Vega, Soyuz, and the new generation of Ariane 6 and Vega-C launchers.

The SCET-M is the central computer system responsible for the real-time reception, selection, processing, and visualization of launcher telemetry from remote tracking stations around the globe. The system reliably displays critical rocket parameters across 10 Operator Workstations, directly enabling safety operators to monitor the vehicle's status and ensure population safety.
Crucially, it acts as an interoperable data hub, providing selected telemetry parameters not only to other CSG systems but also directly to the Toulouse Space Centre. Upon mission completion, the software automatically generates comprehensive post-flight data packages containing the main parameters of the flight.
The scope covered the end-to-end definition, design, development, factory validation, and on-site installation of the new system across three distinct project phases, alongside the complex dismantling of the obsolete infrastructure. Developed entirely in-house using an Agile methodology, the system is highly adaptable and successfully integrated major architectural evolutions, including the TDRS (Tracking and Data Relay Satellite) network and the KASSAV autonomous flight safety system. Additionally, it embeds robust simulation capabilities used to test spaceport interfaces and train operational personnel.
